Manager

As the Manager you will be required to know the ins and outs of your business, we also like our Managers to be visible to our customers for the majority of their time, aside of the minimal office work. Driving your business forward and managing the profitability will be an essential part of your role whilst motivating and inspiring your team to deliver the best customer service. With at least two years experience as a Manager you will have a sound financial understanding of how to manage the business expenditure to ensure your business remains profitable. We always like to offer our pub Managers flexibility in implementing ideas to contribute to the success of Orchid and to be able to stamp your personality on your business.

Deputy Manager

We see our Deputy Managers as our Managers of the future so whether you are an experienced Deputy Manager looking for their final step before becoming a Manager or a supervisor looking to take the step up, we would be happy to hear from you.  As the Deputy Manager you will step in for the Manager when they are away from the business and be required to manage all aspects of the business. You will be a key link between the Bar & Kitchen staff and the Manager. You will also be expected to be able to manage and motivate the team in the absence of the Manager and a good financial understanding of the business will be required. As with the Manager we expect our Deputy Managers to be front of house for the most part with a small amount of paperwork.

Bar & Waiting Staff

Our front of house staff are the most important part of any of our pub, entertaining our customers on a daily basis, they are the ones that make the difference. As staff Member, you will have a passion for delivering the best customer service possible and will thrive on being the centre of attention. We want people who have a fun positive outlook on life which will rub off on our customers, to make their experience with us a memorable one. If you are looking for your first step into the pub trade and have no previous experience, then don’t worry, as  we have a training programme to cover every aspect of the job. If you have previous experience and are looking to progress, then your skills and experience will be put to good use.

Kitchen Team

One of the biggest factors that makes Orchid stand out from its competitors is the quality of food we provide for our customers. We like our Chefs to cook with fresh ingredients at every opportunity giving them the opportunity to use some creative flair. To work within our kitchen you will need to have a passion for food and for delivering the highest possible standards in presentation and delivery of the food. If you have previous experience we welcome you to put your skills to good use. If you are new into the trade but have a passion for food then don’t worry because we have full training available.
